I participated in the Con|verge International Interdisciplinary Residency at Ponderosa Movement & Discovery for 2-weeks in August. Ponderosa is a converted Soviet Farmhouse in Stolzenhagen, about 1 hour from Berlin and run by dance-artists. The residency was curated and facilitated by Mary Pearson, a performance-artist from the UK, who selected artists from various performance disciplines to come together and share their practices, seed new projects and challenge collaborative hierarchies.
During the residency I collaborated with UK theatre-maker, Lisa Hayes. Together we imagined and begun work on ‘The Great Flood’; a dance duet that touched on Tarot, post capitalism and Noah’s Arc to create a manifestation of a utopic future.
